With a starting point in the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals in general and specifically Nr. 12 and 17, GlobeGoGreen wants to inform and guide consumers towards conscious and qualified consumption.
“Economic growth and sustainable development demands that we as quickly as possible reduce our footprint on nature by changing the way we produce and consume our goods and ressources. Agriculture is the largest consumer of water world wide and artificial irrigation is responsible for 70 procent of all consumption of fresh water for human consumption.”
“The Sustainable Development Goals can only be realised through strong global commitment and cooperation. While development aid from developed countries rose with 66 procent between 2000 and 2014, a line of humanitarian crises brought on by conflict and natural disasters still need financial ressources and aid. Many countries also need development aid to strengthen their growth and trade.”
That we become conscious consumers both nationally and internationally.
“We are the first generation to feel the effect of climate change and the last generation who can do something about it.”
